About the Program
Turn your passion for little ones into a career of care and developmental education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Prepare for quick entry into the workforce or a solid foundation for a bachelor’s degree with the Early Childhood Education Transfer Pathway Associate of Science Degree.
Coursework topics include:
- Child growth and development
- Language and literacy
- Diverse children/family relations
- Behavior guidance
- Health, safety and nutrition
The combination of practical on-site experience and convenient online learning prepares you for many career options with an Associate of Science Degree. You could be an assistant teacher or teacher in a preschool or childcare center. Other opportunities include working at a Head Start or opening an in-home child care.
