BIPOC Affinity Group
The Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Affinity Group is a new affinity group that meets monthly via Zoom. All faculty and staff who identify as black, indigenous, and/or people of color are welcome to attend. The purpose of this group is to provide a network of support and to ensure that Ridgewater is a welcoming place for black, indigenous, and people of color employees. The purpose of the group is to provide a network of support and to ensure that Ridgewater is an affirming space for employees of all genders and sexual identities. The Peace Officer, Emergency Services, and Military affinity Group facilitates the inclusion of peace officers, emergency service members, veterans, military members, and their families by creating a space for individuals with similar experiences to provide a network of support and to ensure that Ridgewater College is welcoming for all.
