College in the Schools – Concurrent Enrollment

Press Release – Ridgewater earns National Reaccreditation for Concurrent Enrollment Program [PDF]
College in the Schools is an option for high school students to earn both college credit and high school credit for the same course, while staying at their high school. These courses are taught by high school teachers who meet our credentialing guidelines.
Because we hold College in the Schools students to the same standards and expectations as traditional Ridgewater College students, our College in the Schools graduates have been able to test into higher level college courses, save time and money towards their degree options, and have gained the confidence and skills needed to succeed in their college level course work.
Ridgewater College collaborates with high schools across Minnesota to offer college-level classes taught in high school classrooms by qualified high school instructors. As you explore our website you’ll find important information about registration & admissions criteria, tips for success, learning & student services available to College in the Schools students, as well as our process for starting new partnerships with high schools.
Ridgewater College is accredited by the
National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).
