  • Course selection and program advising
  • Testing
  • Note-taking
  • Sign language interpreting

Who Is Eligible for Accessibility and Disability Services?

An individual with a disability is defined as any person who:

  • Has a physical or mental impairment that limits one or more major life activities
  • Has a record of such an impairment
  • Is regarded as having such an impairment

How to Apply for Accessibility and Disability Services

If you believe you need an accommodation, please submit an accommodation request form [PDF]  Students may supplement the accommodation request form with additional documentation, if needed.   View documentation guidelines [PDF]  These forms may be submitted at any time during the semester.

Accommodation requests are reviewed on an individual, case-by-case basis. After the review, a disability services coordinator will contact you to set up an “interactive” appointment to discuss possible accommodations. If you have not heard from disability services within a week of submitting information, please contact the office.

Request an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter

For students that are hearing impaired, please request for an ASL Interpreter at least two weeks prior to your scheduled appointment. For the Hutchinson Campus, contact Sarah Fosso, [email protected]. For the Willmar Campus, contact Jay Morrison, [email protected].
