2024 Summer Theatre Camp – July 8-12, 15-19

For 7th – 12th grade students, this ten-day commuter camp culminates in a performance of Raise Your Voice featuring actors, singers, dancers, and stage crew on July 19 at 5:30 p.m. in the Ridgewater College Theatre.

Registration fee is $100 due by July 1 and includes a camp T-shirt and a light snack each day. Register and pay online or download and print the form below and return completed with payment to Building A’s front desk on Willmar campus.

Camp size requires 10 participants to run and is limited to maximum of 30. Students must provide their own lunch every camp day. Dress in comfortable clothes with closed toe shoes (no flip-flops or sandals). No inappropriate language or graphics on clothing is allowed. Black pants or skirts must be worn for performance night.

About the Program

Enter, stage left, for some memorable fun. Theater courses and experiences help you explore your talents as well and build your skills in teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and communication. You don’t have to be a theater major to excel and have fun in college or community theatre. You just need to say, YES!

Class distinctions

Ridgewater Theatre Director Matt Hegdahl was honored in January 2018 with a Commendation of Achievement for Directing and Playwriting for the recent production of “King Ed.” Students also received recognition for work on and off the stage from the Region 5 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.
