Tuition & Fees
For the 2019-2020 school year, a credit load of 16 credits per semester will be approximately $2,982.08 plus books and other related expenses.
Tuition: $166.13 Tuition + $20.25 fees = $186.38 per credit
Some programs and courses cost more and are charged a tuition differential rate.
- Farm Business Management: $166.13.29 per credit + $11.75 fees = $177.88 per credit
- Nursing – Associates Degree and Bachelor of Science : $201.29 per credit+ $20.25 fees = $221.54 per credit
- Nursing – Practical Nursing: $195.29 per credit+ $20.25 fees = $215.54 per credit
- Veterinary Technology: $187.79 per credit + $20.25 fees =$208.04 per credit
- Senior Citizen Rate Age 62 or Older: $20 per credit + $11.75 fees = $31.75 per credit
Online Courses Tuition (Resident and Nonresident)
Online Course Tuition: $184.98 Tuition + $16.90 Fees = $201.88 per credit
If you live in a state that has a reciprocity agreement with Minnesota, tuition and fees will be based on your state’s reciprocity agreement. A special form must be completed. Ridgewater College allows students who reside in states that don’t have reciprocity agreements with the state of Minnesota to pay in-state tuition rates.

North Dakota Reciprocity Rate: $166.13 per credit plus fees
South Dakota Reciprocity Rate: $166.13 per credit plus fees
Wisconsin Reciprocity Rate: $166.13 per credit plus fees
Note: Fees are approximately $20.25 per credit for a full-time student.

Parking on Campus
All employees and students who park a vehicle in college parking lots are required to purchase and display a current parking permit on their vehicle. If a student owns and drives more than one vehicle to the campus, additional vehicle permits for use by the student only may be purchased for $5.
Other Fees & Special Costs
Some technical programs may have additional tool/book requirements ranging from $250 to $1,200. Some programs also charge a lab fee, which may range from $30 to $165 per year. Please check with a college counselor for individual program details.
