Ridgewater often needs transcripts (official and unofficial) for admissions and/or credit transfers.
High School Transcripts
Ridgewater requires unofficial high school transcripts for admissions. High schools differ in how to request transcripts, though many use an online service for requesting and sending transcripts. If possible, have the transcripts emailed to [email protected]. If that isn’t an option, students may also mail or drop the transcripts off at the front desk of either the Hutchinson or Willmar campuses.
Most schools have a page on their website that describes how to request transcripts; here are the webpages for some of the schools we serve:
- Glencoe-Silver Lake
- New London-Spicer
- Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted
- Sibley East
- ACGC (call 320-244-4730)
Minnesota State Transcripts
If you attended another Minnesota State system college or university (not including the University of Minnesota), your records will be automatically retrieved when you apply to attend Ridgewater College.
Other College Transcripts
If you attended a non-Minnesota State system college or university (including the University of Minnesota), you will need to request an official transcript be sent to Ridgewater. For the U of MN system, visit their One Stop Shop: Transcripts page. At other colleges, the information may be listed under the “Registrar’s” page, or listed under “student records.” If you cannot find the information on the website, call the general line at your school and they will likely be able to direct you to the correct office.
