TEAS Testing

Students have two options for taking the TEAS Test:

  • Proctored Online by ATI
  • Proctored In-Person at Ridgewater College

Online Testing

  • The cost of the TEAS Online Exam – Proctored by ATI is $120.00. (Cost does include a transcript of your score sent to a college of your choice)
  • Can take the exam from the convenience of your home or a location closer to home versus having to come to campus to take the test.
  • A microphone and webcam are required – either internal or external
  • Ensure your internet speed is between 0.5-1 Mbps. You can test your internet speed using www.speedtest.net

How to register for the online test:

  • Go to the ATI website: www.atitesting.com
  • Select “I am prepping for or taking the TEAS”
  • Click the Log In icon
  • Log in using the Username and Password you created when setting up your account.
  • Click on Online Store
  • Click on Register for… TEAS
  • Click Visit this Page under the TEAS Online Proctored by ATI
  • Click Register Now
  • Choose ATI Remote Proctor Nursing for the TEAS Proctor – Program Type and choose the date range you would like to take the test. Click Search.
  • Select the date and time you would like to take the test.

In-Person Testing

Willmar Campus In-Person TEAS Testing:
Friday, January 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, January 29 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00p.m.

Hutchinson Campus In-Person TEAS Testing:
Friday, January 16 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, January 22 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

  • The cost of the In-Person exam – Proctored at Ridgewater College is $97.00 (Cost does include a transcript of your score sent to Ridgewater College – Will not be sent to other institutions)
  • Students are encouraged to register early as space is limited.
  • Plan to arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes prior to the exam start time. Students arriving after the exam start time will not be allowed to take the TEAS exam.
  • Photo ID: To be admitted to your testing session, you will need to present government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license, passport, or green card.
  • You MUST have your Username and Password with you to log in to the exam.

How to register for the In-Person test:

  • Go to the ATI website: www.atitesting.com
  • Select “I am prepping for or taking the TEAS”
  • Click the Log In icon
  • Log in using your Username and Password you created when setting up your account.
  • Click on Online Store
  • Click on Register for … TEAS
  • Click Visit this Page under the In-Person Proctored at an Institution
  • Click Register Now
  • Choose TEAS for Nursing Students for Program Type, School Name for Search By, MN for State, and Ridgewater College for school.
  • Select the date and time you would like to take the test.

Things to know

  • Version 7 tests are required for all applications.
  • A minimum score of 58.7 is required to apply for the program.
  • Plan on 4 hours maximum to complete your TEAS exam.
  • A four-function calculator is built into the exam (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • TEAS exams cannot be rescheduled or reimbursed. If you have an emergency, please contact ATI Customer Support at 1-800-667-7531.
