Ridgewater College is pleased to be able to offer a robust benefits package to employees. As part of the Minnesota State system, we provide State of Minnesota benefits.
Labor Contracts and Plans
The majority of employees at Ridgewater College are represented by a labor union. Ridgewater College has four unions that represent over 98% of our employees. Minnesota Managment and Budget are responsible for negotiating and updating contracts.
AFSCME – American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees
MAPE – Minnesota Association of Professional Employees
MMA – Middle Management Association
MSCF – Minnesota State College Faculty Association
Some positions are excluded from union representation. Minnesota Management and Budget are responsible for creating and updating contracts.
