Kelley holds a BA in English from the University of North Dakota, and a MS in Human Services with an emphasis in College Student Personnel from Murray State University (Kentucky). Kelley found her passion for working in higher education when she was a student leader at UND. Unsure what she was going to do after graduating, she was encouraged by an advisor to explore a career in Student Affairs. With over 20 years of experience, Kelley has worked in a variety of roles at 5 different institutions across the country in areas like student affairs, instruction, accreditation, and more. She joined Ridgewater College in 2011 and proudly serves as the coordinator for the federal Perkins grant, connecting area high schools, industry partners, and Ridgewater’s technical programs as part of the Mid-Minnesota Consortium. Outside of work, she enjoys writing, traveling around the globe with her husband, photography, and the occasional DIY project.
