Ridgewater launches new website for Warrior Athletics

Willmar and Hutchinson, MN— Ridgewater College has launched a new website for Warrior athletics. The new site, ridgewaterathletics.com, supports live statistics, results, updates, and live streams of athletic events when possible. In addition, the site will provide schedules, rosters, news, photography, and videos.
“We are excited for the new look of the website and the ability to easily share information across the conference and with the NJCAA,” said Athletic Coordinator Todd Thorstad.
The new website was developed in partnership with PrestoSports, an official partner of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). This partnership allows data to be shared automatically with the NJCAA and competitors in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC).
Ridgewater’s Athletics program includes men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s mixed clay target shooting, baseball, softball, volleyball and wrestling. All sports will return to campus when classes start on August 23.
“We’re excited to resume athletics and see our student athletes back in action, and on campus,” Thorstad said. “We’re coming out of the pandemic stronger than when it started.”
