A Message from the Director of DEI: Welcome

Warrior community members and neighbors! This marks the launch of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) blog. Each month we will share information and updates about topics related to DEI and events happening at Ridgewater College.
What is a warrior: Strength, honor, dignity, respect, gratitude, dedication, team, support, and hope are just a few words that come to mind. As a RIDGEWATER Warrior I believe that we demonstrate these characteristics among others in the work we do to create inclusive campuses where everyone can be their authentic selves.
Multicultural & Inclusion Space
I am excited to share that we are working to create multicultural & inclusion spaces on both campuses. While our multicultural and inclusion space was created with marginalized communities in mind it is intended to be for all our students. This is a space for students to connect with their peers, study, meet with friends, or simply rest and recharge in between classes.
The student lounge space will be open 8AM – 4:30PM Monday – Friday.
