Sexual Violence Awareness D2L Training Deadline

Sexual violence is a serious problem at colleges and universities throughout the country.

We would like to encourage students to take our Sexual Violence Awareness Training available on your D2L page.

Just log into D2L and navigate to the course. Complete the training by Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, to be entered to win one of four $50 Bookstore Gift Cards as a thank you for taking the time to complete the training.

How to Take the Training:

1. Log into D2L Brightspace.
   • Remember, your login is your Star ID and Star ID password
2. Navigate to The Sexual Violence Awareness Training course in your My Courses list.
   • Using the arrow at the top of the list, advance to the Awareness and Training list, then scroll down as needed to find the course.
   • Alternatively, you can click the “waffle icon” at the top of the page to find the course.
3. All students that complete the training by Saturday, October 31, 2026 will be entered to win one of four $50 Ridgewater Bookstore Gift Certificates as a thank you for taking the time to complete the training.
   • If you’ve already completed the training during the 2026-27 academic school year, you are automatically entered into the prize drawing.

Prizes

• A drawing will take place on Monday, November 02, 2026 for four (4) winners.
• You may only win once.
• Winners will be emailed via their Ridgewater College student email, so make sure to check it!
• Winners will not be announced publicly.
