Located in Willmar, MN the Ridgewater College Veterinary Technology Program has been accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) since 1993. The Ridgewater Veterinary Technology Program is well known for graduating highly skilled veterinary technicians. Our goal is to ensure that when students leave Ridgewater, they are well-prepared and ready to put their skills to use in the industry.
What kinds of partnerships are available?
- Veterinary Technology Partner Program – The goal of this program is to provide industry partners with the ability to enhance their business visibility and brand awareness while supporting student success through student engagement, networking, collaboration, mentorship and more.
- Veterinary Technology Career Fair – New in 2023, the Veterinary Technology Career Fair is designed to bring employers, current Ridgewater students, and alumni together to provide a glimpse of career opportunities, internships and job shadow experiences. During the event, attendees and employers have an opportunity to discuss internship and employment opportunities, explain their practices focus areas, participate in same-day interviews, and much more.
- Internships – We appreciate all of our industry partners who provide these invaluable opportunities for our students. Many time, these internships lead to full-time job placement after graduation.
