Steve Mulder, M.D., is the former President and CEO of Hutchinson Health. A native of Renville, Dr. Mulder graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and the University of Minnesota Medical School. After working as a family medicine physician in Renville and Marshall, he joined the Emergency Department at Hutchinson Area Health Care in 1999. Strongly committed to quality and patient satisfaction, he directed the areas of Medical Affairs and Clinical Services before becoming CEO in 2009.
Dr. Mulder and his wife, Ev, live in Hutchinson where they enjoy walking, cycling and rooting for their favorite sports teams.
