Ridgewater’s Agriculture Equipment Mechanic Program Achieves AED Foundation Accreditation

WILLMAR and HUTCHINSON, MN – The Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation (AEDF) has given its stamp of approval to Ridgewater’s Agriculture Equipment Mechanic program by recently granting accreditation for the program.
Ridgewater College’s Agriculture Equipment Mechanic program is the first program in the state of Minnesota to be accredited by the AED Foundation.” The term of AEDF accreditation is five years. “Ridgewater College is extremely excited to partner with the AED Foundation, said Jeff Miller, Ridgewater dean of instruction. “Earning this accreditation validates that our Agriculture Equipment Mechanic Program is providing students and the industry with the highest quality graduates. The opportunities the AED Foundation accreditation provides students throughout their college experience is priceless, including access to scholarships and ensuring they are enrolling in high-quality programs. We feel fortunate to have the AED Foundation’s support throughout the entire process.”
The AED Foundation is dedicated to developing and improving heavy equipment industry partnerships that meet the mutual needs of local dealers, manufacturers, and technical colleges. “The AED Foundation is proud to be affiliated with Ridgewater College through this accreditation and is committed to the program’s ongoing success,” says Jahnisi Aymerich with the AED Foundation.

Our students are highly sought after upon graduation, and our program allows for students and industry to work closely together throughout their education, through our internship programs offered each semester.”
