Ridgewater to Host Community Health Fairs

Live a healthier lifestyle by connecting with resources and vendors at the Ridgewater Community Health Fair set for 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on November 7 at the Hutchinson campus and November 14 at the Willmar campus. These events are free and open to the public.
“We decided to move the long-standing spring event to fall in hopes that students, staff and community members might gain exposure to great local resources to improve their focus on healthy habits as we enter Minnesota’s winter and holiday seasons,” said Heather Marcus, the Ridgewater Student Life coordinator in Hutchinson.
“In addition to some of the mainstay topics of weight management, fitness, and chiropractic care, we’ll also have some new resources such as nutrition shakes, mental health support, and family planning assistance,” added Angela Haas, Willmar’s Student Life coordinator.
The two-hour events will include more than 20 vendors and agency resources, door prizes, free samples, and a grand prize drawing. Prizes will be given every 30 minutes, with the grand prize drawing at 12:30 p.m. (Need not be present to win.)
