Skills Fest 2026

Skills Fest will take place from 8 am to 12:30 pm on the Willmar campus. Registration will start at 8 am and must be completed by 8:45 am. Students will then participate in their registered contests. After contests, students will be provided with a FREE lunch and awards will begin at 12 pm. Registration to participate will be due by Friday, January 16, 2025. Please share this information with other instructors in your school or other schools who may be interested in sending students to this event.

Please note:

• All registration will be online via the Google Sheet emailed to counselors and instructors. Due to the time frame on each of the skills, participants are only allowed to register for ONE contest. NOTE: some contests require registering as a team vs. as an individual.
• An advisor or instructor must be present the entire duration of the event for a student to participate.

Skill Contests
Contests in the technical areas of the college often include:

• Agriculture (multiple contests)
• Auto Careers (Auto Body & Auto Technology)
• Computer System Technology
• Nursing
• Photography
• Plumbing
• Veterinary Technology
• Welding

Please note: Photos and short videos will be taken during this event. If you wish NOT to be in photos, kindly step away from any nearby cameras. We will respect your wishes.
