Skills Fest 2024

Skills Fest is for students grades 9 through 12 and provides an opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a variety of areas and have a fun-filled day of competition! Awards and prizes will be given in each skill area. Scholarships will also be awarded by Ridgewater College Foundation to first place winners. These scholarships are honored for students who enroll at Ridgewater full-time within one year after high school graduation.

Check-in from 8 – 8:45 a.m.
Deadline for participant registration is January 19, 2024.

Event Details

Skills Fest will take place from 8 am to 12:30 pm on the Willmar campus. Registration will start at 8 am and must be completed by 8:45 am. Students will then participate in their registered contests. After contests, students will be provided with a FREE lunch and awards will begin at 12 pm. Registration to participate will be due by Friday, January 19, 2024. Please share this information with other instructors in your school or other schools who may be interested in sending students to this event.

Please note:

• All registration will be online via the Google Sheet emailed to counselors and instructors. Due to the time frame on each of the skills, participants are only allowed to register for ONE contest. NOTE: some contests require registering as a team vs. as an individual.
• An advisor or instructor must be present the entire duration of the event for a student to participate.
