Tell us about yourself and your Ridgewater Experience
I got a great start into my IT career. I learned how to support a broad range of operating systems and applications. This broad knowledge gave me a flexibility in my individual jobs that helped me to build my career faster than I could have hoped for. I got my first job offer a month before graduation and, a couple jobs later, I am now a System Engineer at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Why did you choose Ridgewater College?
I had attended Ridgewater in the past to get my generals done and play football while I figured out what I wanted to do in life.
What advice would you give to current and prospective students?
Have a specific career goal that you are excited about. Things are just easier to grasp when you have the right mindset.
