Merton Newman

Accounting

Class of 1963

I chose to come to Willmar Community College as it was close to home (Kandiyohi) and I always excelled in math.
It was the right path as it made sense to me. Made a good living doing and being chief accountant for car dealerships.

I remember when the Cuban missile crisis happened, my accounting teacher talked to class that he was concerned about being called to active duty.
Also, I was in Circle K, and I enjoyed going with a number of other students to convention in Southern Minnesota.
