Partners in Agriculture and Education
Located in Willmar, MN, the Ridgewater College Agriculture Department is home to the largest two-year ag program in Minnesota. We offer 11 different ag programs. Our goal is to help make students’ passion productive through hands-on learning, internship experiences, industry field trips, classroom speakers, industry networking opportunities, and much more.
What kinds of partnerships are available?
- Industry Partner Sponsors – The Ridgewater Ag Department works with industry through its sponsorship program. The goal is to give industry partners the ability to enhance their business visibility and brand awareness while supporting student success through student engagement, networking, collaboration, mentorship and more.
- Internships – All of Ridgewater’s ag students are required to complete two, paid internships in order to graduate. We appreciate all of our industry partners who provide these invaluable opportunities for our students. Many times, these internships lead to full-time job placement after graduation.
- Ag Career Fair – Our annual Ag Career Fair is designed to bring employers, current Ridgewater students, and alumni together to provide a glimpse of career opportunities, internships and job shadow experiences. During the event, attendees and employers have an opportunity to participate in same-day interviews, company presentations and a products and services showcase. The opportunities are endless! The event takes place each December.
