Public Invited to Coffee with the Cops Visits at Ridgewater

Building relationships with the community is a priority for Ridgewater College and the Hutchinson and Willmar police departments. Ridgewater is proud to announce that it will combine efforts as Ridgewater hosts Coffee with the Cops events on Tuesday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hutchinson campus commons area and on Thursday, February 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the Willmar campus cafeteria in the Student Center.
Members of the public are invited to join students and Ridgewater employees for an hour of conversation and connections with area law enforcement personnel. Treats, coffee and other hot beverages will be provided.
“We are so excited to host these events on our campuses,” said Heidi Olson, Ridgewater dean of students. “We’re proud of the great working relationship we have developed with our local law enforcement agencies and are excited to provide this opportunity for others to strengthen their relationships and expand their understanding as well.”
Peace officer partners will join Ridgewater partners in casual conversations that can address community topics and provide answers to visitors’ questions.
