Ridgewater to offer sales course with new partner: the Milwaukee Way Sales Academy

HUTCHINSON and WILLMAR, MN – Ever wonder about the business of professional sports teams or large-scale entertainment? Ridgewater has a slam-dunk, unique opportunity for you this fall!
The Marketing and Sales Management program will partner with The Milwaukee Way Sales Academy to offer a four-week training as part of its online Professional Sales course. The course will be open to both enrolled program students as well as Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) high schoolers and visiting students interested in just this course.
“We are so excited about this opportunity for our students,” said Ridgewater instructor Jennifer Quale. Sales jobs touch nearly every industry, offer a significant amount of flexibility, and with the right skill set, she explained, can provide lucrative and rewarding careers. “This partnership with The Milwaukee Way offers a fun, hands-on opportunity to learn the skills needed to be successful in sales.”
In addition to the four-week Sales Academy, Ridgewater’s Professional Sales course includes topics such as trust-based relationship selling, customer personality recognition and adaptation, networking, negotiation skills, and sales presentations.
Ridgewater’s fall semester starts August 23, with this course scheduled on Thursdays from 1-4 pm. Interested students should enroll in the synchronous online Professional Sales course found on the course schedule. With synchronous courses, students are all logged in with the instructor at the same time for an interactive and engaging experience.
Ridgewater offers many courses that do not have prerequisites and are open to visiting students who are interested in learning or continuing education opportunities, but not earning a credential. This is one of those opportunities. Visiting students do not need to apply for admission to the college.
This option is expected to fill quickly, so anyone interested should register very soon. Remaining class seats are limited.
