Next Generation Nursing Assistant Initiative

Ridgewater College is proud to answer the Governor’s call to train certified nursing assistants (CNAs) for Minnesota long-term care facilities as part of the next generation nursing assistant initiative. The training is available at no cost to participants. Classes will be delivered in a hybrid format, with the classroom portion offered online and the skills portion taking place on campus. Once trained, the CNAs will be eligible for employment at Minnesota long-term care facilities that are facing severe staffing shortages due to the pandemic.
