Kim Boysen is an advisor with the TRIO Student Support Services program at Ridgewater College. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of South Dakota, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Kim completed her Master of Educational Leadership Degree at Southwest Minnesota State University. She advises TRIO students who are working towards an Associate’s Degree at Ridgewater’s Willmar campus. She has been with the college since 2009. Services Kim provides includes advising and registration, assisting with the FAFSA application, helping students complete scholarship applications, taking students on tours of 4-year colleges, and helping with the transfer process. Kim is committed to helping students navigate their college experience and reach their individual goals. Outside of work, she enjoys her three grandchildren, reading, and traveling with her husband, friends, and family.
