Veterinary Technology Instructor
Ridgewater College is seeking applicants for an Unlimited Part-Time Veterinary Technology Instructor. This unlimited position means there is a continuance of teaching year after year.
Ridgewater’s Veterinary Technology program is a highly respected and nationally honored program in Minnesota.
Ridgewater’s Veterinary Technology program has been ranked as one of the top 50 veterinary technician programs in the country. The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) has granted Ridgewater College’s Veterinary Technology program full accreditation since 1993.
This program helps ensure that students in small, personal classes learn exactly what future employers demand. Students are set up for success through extensive hands-on lab experiences in the campus Paws and Claws clinic as well as at community partner facilities.
This position teaches surgical nursing and anesthesia, large animal husbandry and large animal nursing procedures course. The instructor must be comfortable with clinical procedures on horses, cattle, small ruminants, and pigs. Additional course instruction to be determined upon hiring. Applicant must demonstrate a knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Wage: $40,912 – $85,892 (for 171 instructor contract days; dependent on education and years of experience)
