November 8 is National First Generation Recognition Day! We’re holding an event on each campus and online to recognize First Generation (“First Gen”) students! If you are a First Gen college student, we invite you to join and talk with other First Gen Ridgewater students. Discussion topics and questions will be provided.

Free hot cocoa and apple cider will be provided at the in-person sessions.

What is a First Generation student? A First Gen student is an individual, neither of whose parents completed a degree at a post-secondary institution – typically referring to completion of a baccalaureate degree.
