Kandiyohi COVID Kickstart Scholarship
This award is made possible through CARES Act funding provided by the Economic Development Commission (EDC) in Willmar, MN. Funding is available to students who have experienced hardship due to COVID-19 and meet the eligibility requirements described below. Read the full press release.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Kandiyohi County, or be employed (or formerly employed if laid off) by a business in Kandiyohi County
- Must be able to demonstrate loss of job/income due to COVID-19 pandemic since March 1, 2020
- Must be registered for Ridgewater College credit course(s) for Spring Semester 2021 OR for a Customized Training/Continuing Education course during November, December or January. Registration must be complete by December 5, 2020. Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) students are not eligible for this award.
This is awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis to eligible students. The application is closed.
