First term of PSEO
All new PSEO students are required to attend a new student Orientation and Advising day (OAR) prior to their first semester. Students will be advised on the credit balance sheet submitted with their PSEO application.
Excluded PSEO Programs and Courses:
Additional terms of PSEO
All PSEO students are required to meet with their PSEO academic advisor to select courses prior to registering. Students will not be able to register until Notice of Enrollment forms are complete. (this may vary by high school).
Students will not be advised for courses not covered by the PSEO program unless requested by the student. Payment for non-PSEO courses will be required by tuition due date to secure a spot in the course.
Summer term
PSEO juniors who wish to enroll in summer courses may do so by applying to Ridgewater as a “special student” but will be responsible to cover the tuition, textbook, and fees. Graduating seniors looking to continue with summer courses may apply as degree-seeking students and seek financial aid to assist with summer session costs.
Maintaining eligibility
Students participating in the program must maintain a cumulative Ridgewater GPA of 2.0 or better to remain active in the program. Students who fail to meet the 2.0 cumulative GPA requirement will be suspended from the program and must make arrangements to return to their high school. Ridgewater PSEO students must also follow college policies regarding satisfactory academic progress. It is imperative that students understand the grades they earn and performance they present will become part of their permanent college record. Performing poorly in PSEO can affect your ability to graduate from high school, gain college admission, financial aid, and status on college/university probation/suspension.
